Developed from our highly successful Gundog Coat technology, the Heavy Weather Waterproof Dog Coat is intended for use in both inclement and winter weather conditions, providing your dog with both a warm and durable waterproof jacket.
The waxed outer fabric provides a wind and waterproof barrier from the elements as well as protecting the dog from harsh treatment in the undergrowth.
The Heavy Weather Waterproof Dog Coat is double stitched on all seams and comprises of an inner layer of our high quality double cotton towelling, an intermediary insulating and absorbent layer which wicks any moisture from the dog keeping it warm an dry, increasing blood circulation and helping to prevent stiff joints thereby prolonging the dog's working life; and a durable outer waterproof layer of top quality waxed cotton canvas, The coat is available in Forest Green and kept securely in place by a wide adjustable matching belt with twin Velcro fastening.
SIZING
Because of the variation in sizes both between and within breeds, we recommend that you measure your dog's back before ordering to ensure the correct size of coat is ordered.
The size of our dog coats represents the distance from the base of the dog's neck along the back of the dog to the base of the tail / a line vertical with the rear of the dog.
This range of coats is offered in Stock Sizes from 14" to 30". We also manufacture 'made to measure' coats for larger or smaller dogs or to match the individual conformation of your dog giving a tailored fit.. We can also provide replacement or longer/shorter length belts should they be required, please contact us to discuss any special requirements you may have.
